The search for the most suitable artificial lighting is of increasing importance in modern architecture. Whether it is the design of interior spaces, commercial premises, or exteriors, light often enables the architect to clearly express their ideas, imagination, and fantasies.
In collaboration with a team of architects, the Italian company Duralamp has created the 'TONE' project, which focuses on the artificial creation of light for a variety of combinations of the latest colors and materials in interior design. It involves creating the most suitable spectra of light for each specific combination.
The group of architects evaluated the color reproduction of individual materials, the harmony and synchronicity among different colors, the perception of various material textures, and the improvement of contrast. All of this was achieved through a combination of different LED light sources that create various shades and shadows of light, resulting in rich spectrums that enhance the diverse colors of the interior and strengthen the expressive message of the architect as a whole.
The TONES color palette consists of seven different shades of light, initially created digitally and then accurately reproduced to express specific spectra that are specially combined and designed to enhance various combinations of materials and colors. It represents a completely new, highly specialized form of lighting.
The TONES palette is ideal for residential, commercial, hotel, and entertainment lighting; for spaces that are equipped with refined interior design projects that take into account the colors and materials of the interior. The aim is to create a selected style and atmosphere and evoke specific emotional responses.
TONES embodies the concept of completely new light. We no longer speak of standard color temperatures of light such as warm, daylight, or cool light. With this new way of thinking and working, the spectra are designed to create a unique ambiance and environment envisioned by the architect. TONES is available in seven different "tones" of light, each with its own customized spectrum of light to enhance and elevate various combinations of materials and colors.
CALM
Materials: bricks, leather and carpet. Colours: red, violet, brown and orange.Inspired by the warm hues of a sunset, TONES CALM is perfect for illuminating materials that exude warmth and possess a distinct texture. It is particularly well-suited for spaces where a sense of tranquility, coziness, and relaxation is desired. This tone closely resembles that of an incandescent lamp, yet unlike the traditional lamp, it can accurately render both white tones and cooler colors.
SENTIMENTAL
Materials: gold-plated metals, various shades of wood and flesh tones. A meticulously calibrated spectrum, TONES CALM emphasizes warm yellow tones while incorporating hints of blue and green to ensure flawless perception of white and grey shades, as well as accurate rendering of warm hues.
